Still looking for a job? After the massive job cut-off brought about the recession, people are starting to look for a good paying job. If you want to make sure that the position you are applying will land to you, be prepared. Interviews can be very tough, but you should learn how to answer the most common questions job seekers usually encounter during interviews.

Interview Questions

Usually, interviewers would ask you to describe the job you are looking for. When answering this question, you should leave an impression that you are not the type of person that would immediately leave your current job for a higher paying job. Answer by relating the job description of the position you are applying for. Always know what you are applying for, learn about what is expected of you from the job. With this, you are leaving the impression that you have found the job you are looking for. Never answer the usual reasons like for financial reasons, it is very general.

Another tricky question an interviewer would ask you about is what bad traits you have. You would not want to let them know of any bad trait for fear of rejection, but answering none would make the interviewer think that you are egoistic. So how do you answer this type of question without fear of rejection? Answer by exaggerating something that is good. Like for example, say that you are overly organized. This could sound negative, but still it builds up positive impression of you. Being overly organized can be negative but is more postive in other ways. Also, think of a trait that is not related to your job. Saying a worst trait that is associated to what you are applying for is not a good idea. By answering with the question with traits that are very important to your job gives the interviewer a good reason not to consider you for hiring. Try saying that you are not artistic when what you are applying for doesn’t require you to be one.

Interview Questions

Lastly, being asked who you usually dont work well with is a very complicated inquiry. Again, try answering this with a positive one turned negative in an exaggerated manner. Before answering this, try to consider what the interviewer would answer when asked this question. Try to put yourself into her shoes. Make the same answer as with what the interviewers would say. For example, you could answer with co-workers or people who don’t give their best on their job, or those who tend to pin-point others for a taskk they are assigned. You can also include to mention people who tends to not learn from their mistakes and do the same mistake over and over again. Never say that you blend with everyone. The interviewer would consider you being dishonest. Other than that, avoid answering another very common answer like saying that you don’t get along with lazy people.

Keep in mind these tips of do’s and don’ts in answering tricky interview questions and you are sure to land on the job.
